Helmut Krausser
Helmut Krausser (1964) was born in Esslingen. As well as writing novels, short stories, poetry, diaries, radio dramas, plays and screenplays, he also composes music. Several of his books have been adapted for film and his work has been translated into multiple languages. His accolades include the Tukan Prize and the Prix Itali, and his film Einsamkeit und Sex und Mitleid/ Pity, Sex and Loneliness was nominated for the German Film Prize 2017 in the ‘best screenplay’ category. He lives in Berlin.
